What’s Up?

Dog wearing a thank you sign

Thanks to so many, SpoofDawg to the Rescue had another banner year!

We began as a small grassroots all-volunteer team in Southern California gathering small donations of pet food and pet supplies then distributing them to a few local animal rescues. Pet supply stores and distributors took notice and began donating needed items. Permanent donation bins were placed at local pet related businesses supporting our mission. We held various fundraising events such as Quartermania, Fill the Truck and Project Charlie.

Today we are proud of our accomplishments in our first two years, including donations of food and supplies to nearly 30 rescue groups totaling over $600,000, sponsoring our first spay and neuter event, and our emergency relief efforts to help displaced animals during the California earthquake and fire disasters. Our hard-working team has doubled in size.

Future Our path has led us to expand into a 1600 sq. ft. industrial space to accommodate larger quantities and more variations of donated items, benefiting our existing partnered rescues and others who reach out to SpoofDawg to the Rescue for help.

More volunteers will bring further growth, additional events, expanding our emergency relief efforts along with additional spay/neuter clinics and educating our community. Our goal is to reach outgoing donations totaling over $1,000,000 by mid-2020.
